He is the Traditional Chief (Omanhene Kyeame) of Asante Juaben traditional area. He is the President of the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI), President of the Pan-African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PACCI) which is made up of fifty-four (54) member-countries and the leader of the Private Sector Council of Ghana. He holds an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Financial Management from the Dayspring University in U.S.A, a Master’s degree in Financial Management from GIMPA and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences from the University of Cape Coast. In addition, Nana Dr. Appiagyei Dankawoso I is a Chartered Insurer with over two decades’ experience in insurance practice. Nana Dr. Appiagyei Dankawoso I serves on several governing Boards including Central Investment Consult, Nkosuo Microfinance Company Limited, Juaben Rural Bank Limited, PML Children’s Hospital, Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority, Samara Group of Companies, University of Cape Coast Business School (UCC), West African Examination Council (WAEC), Ghana National Petroleum Authority and many more. Nana has received several awards both in Ghana and abroad and has also undertaken several Research works that have had far-reaching impacts on the larger Juaben community in particular and the entire country as a whole. Nana Dr Appiagyei Dankawoso I is a consummate traditional authority and a revered role model to both the young and old throughout Ghana.
