He is the Chief Executive Officer of the bank. He holds a first degree in Accounting and an MBA in Finance from the University of Ghana and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology respectively. He started his distinguished career as an Accounts Clerk at Juaben Rural Bank in 1996 and by dint of hard work and his commitment towards higher academic pursuits, he rose through the ranks to become a Branch Manager. In the year 2012, he joined Yaa Asantewaa Rural Bank as their General Manager. After excelling in his role there, the bank saw it fit to re-engage him in 2016 and after three stellar years, he took charge as the Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Augustine Awere Damoah has amassed vast experience in the rural banking industry and has had enormous impact on the performance of the bank. In the year 2023, he received an enviable NOBLE award from Eminent West Africa Nobles Forum for his exemplary leadership style, positive contribution to the society and his unmatched integrity.
