The Akyɛmpimhene of the Juaben Traditional Area in the Ashanti Region, Oheneba Yaw Sarpong Siriboe I, is the 2022 Overall National Best Farmer. A trained engineer, supply chain manager and agronomist, Oheneba Yaw Sarpong Siriboe I is an elite entrepreneur and a high-end achiever. Known in private life as Nana Yaw Sarpong Siriboe, he is the youngest ever and seventh person from the Ashanti Region to be crowned the ultimate best farmers’ award winner. He has been into farming for the past 22 years and the result is there for all to see. Oheneba Yaw Sarpong Siriboe I owns Siriboe Farms Limited which is headquartered in Juaben in the Juaben Municipality of the Ashanti Region, along with other farming sites at Ejura in the Sekyeredumasi district and Akokoa in the Atebubu-Amantin district. He holds an MBA degree in Logistics and Supply Chain from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). Oheneba Yaw Sarpong Siriboe I serves on several management boards in Ghana, including the Juaben Rural Bank, the Centre for Scientific and Industrial Research-Oil Palm Research Institute (CSIR-OPRI), and is a distinguished member of the Business Advisory Committee, Business Resource Centre (BRC) at the Sekyere District Assembly. He is currently the Supply Chain Manager for Juaben Oil Mills and CEO of Siriboe Farms.
