The Management and staff of Juaben Rural Bank Ltd. on Saturday, 1st August, 2015, joined other citizens of the town to clean up the Juaben Government Hospital as part of activities to mark the National Sanitation Day (NSD).
During the exercise which lasted for about four hours, the staff of the bank cleared bushes at the frontage of the hospital, cleaned some wards and removed cobwebs in the corridors. The exercise coincided with activities lined up to mark the 30th anniversary of the bank. Speaking to the press after the exercise, the Chief Executive Officer of the bank, Noble Kwabena Agyei-Poku, said for the NSD clean up exercise to be sustainable, it would need the support and collaboration of all stakeholders in the various communities. The Bank donated all the items used in the exercise to the Hospital Authorities to enable them continue to keep their environment clean.
